Favourite Drugstore Mascaras

Hello everybody!

I’ve never been obsessed with make-up; I usually don’t even wear it to school, if I go out... But if I do wear it, I always keep it simple- and by simple I mean I usually only use mascara and a lipstick. I have quite thick and long eyelashes; however good mascara can still lengthen, volumize and curl them. I’m going to review three drugstore mascaras I’m using and loving at the moment.

Misslyn: Fabulous lashes mascara (waterproof)
I’ve been using this mascara for around 7 months and it still hasn’t dry out. I’m not a big fan of this one, just because removing waterproof mascara is a challenge. It doesn’t clumps and it makes my lashes look long, but I still sometimes pair this mascara with another one for more curled look. In overall I’m in love with Misslyn: Fabulous lashes mascara and I’ve been using it all the time for the last six months.

Essence: Get BIG! Lashes
I’ve started using this Essence’s mascara probably around two months ago, when my sister gave it to me. I don’t know why, but I just didn’t want to use Essence’s mascaras even though I love every product I’ve used from them. This mascara makes my lashes look long, curled and volumized. I usually apply it in 1-2 coats, or I sometimes pair it with the Misslyn’s mascara. As this one isn’t waterproof, I always end up smudging it all over my face.

Essence: Plump No Clump
I’ve bought this Essence’s mascara this month and I’m loving it ever since I’ve start using it! As the name says, it makes my lashes look volumized without any clumping. Compared to Essence’s Get BIG! Lashes, I’ve noticed that Essence’s Plump No Clump does clump sometimes. I apply this one in 2 coats and I don’t pair it with any other mascara, because it makes my lashes long and curled by itself.

If you’re looking for good mascaras for low prices, I’d definitely recommend buying any of these three. Do you know any great drugstore mascaras you’d recommend buying them?

I hope you enjoy reading blog from another teenager!

H&M and Zara Haul

Hello everybody!

For today’s post I thought I’d show you what I bought in my latest haul. I always enjoy watching haul videos and reading haul posts and in the end I also enjoy buying clothes, but as much I would like to go shopping every week, my wallet doesn’t allow me that. Well, the perks of being a 17 year old without money. But my friend and I decided to go to Ljubljana (the capital city of Slovenia) and spend a rainy day in the shops and after all- I’m not a shopaholic, I’m just helping the economy.

I can honestly tell that this was a pretty successful shopping day as I actually found two pairs of pants that actually fit me. I always have problems with pants as I have quite weird figure- they are either too big in the waist or they are too long and my mother has to shorten them. But those two pairs of pants fit me perfectly!

I bought first pair in Zara for 19.95€. They are mid waisted jeggings and they are the most comfortable thing ever. I love the dark blue colour and the fact they are mid waisted. They are really stretchy, so I can eat as much as I want and they will still fit me- we’ll talk about diets some other day. :)

I bought the second pair in H&M for 19.99€. As all my pants from H&M I love these too. They are high waisted pants and these are quite stretchy too- it’s all about being comfortable girls. I really like the grey-black colour and as they are quite high waisted, I’ll be also able to wear them with crop tops in the spring and summer.

Speaking of summer- I do like winter, but I still prefer summer, so I subconsciously bought a top with short sleeves. But I can still wear it with a black blazer or a cardigan. I bought this top in Zara for 14.99€. I absolutely adore the cute collar on top and the flower print. It’s a bit more loose and it’s slightly longer in the back than in the front. The top looks great with the blue mid waisted pants.

I bought this lovely cardigan in H&M for 9.99€. It’s grey-black and it’s also quite long and that’s like the best thing about it. It’s thin, so I can wear it in the winter with long sleeved tops and in the spring/ summer with short sleeved tops or crop tops.

And finally- the purchase I am most excited about- this lovely grey dress. I love dresses, but they never fit me since I’m quite small, but this one fit me perfectly. It has short sleeves and a black collar (having an obsession with collars or?). There are two seams in the middle of the dress, which are supposed to make people think you’re thinner than you actually are, or something like that. It’s also stretchy, which makes me wonder of my eating habits. But hey- at least I’ll feel comfortable while eating; am I right ladies?

So this is what I bought in my H&M and Zara Haul. What are your ‘must have’ pieces in your closet at the moment?

I hope you enjoy reading blog from another teenager!

What I Got For My 17th Birthday

Saturday, February 07, 2015 Sara Wallflower 24 Comments

Hello everybody!

You may or may not know I’ve celebrated my 17th birthday on 31st January. And besides getting old, I also hate getting presents. I somehow find it meaningless to spend money to buy me things- I mean, it’s just a birthday. I’ll probably start doing my driving test this summer, so I need quite a lot of money and that’s why all of my relatives just gave me money. Because of that I’m only going to share with you what my friends bought me. I would really like to show you all the candies too, but well...I ate them all. :)

My three friends and I, we all celebrate our birthdays in less than a month apart and we all actually wrote on a piece of paper what we want for our birthdays. That was a great idea, as it was easier for me to buy four presents for them and I got what I wished for.

I admit I’m obsessed with any lip products. I have way too many lip balms, lipsticks, lip glosses... So when I saw that my friends got me two lipsticks and two lip glosses I wanted to try them all right there in pizza restaurant.

Well you can also tell from my post Rainbow of Nail Polishes- Summer Nail Polish Favourites I have an excessive number of nail polishes. Thanks to my friends I have even more of them now! I got a blue nail polish, Essence’s Be Berry Now! and Essence’s Candy Crush. I can’t wait to use them all. I also got a nail file, which means I should probably take more care of my nails. But due to climbing are my nails really short and scratched.

I got Essence’s eye shadow (Irresistible lavender dream), this lovely bracelet and some new earrings (earrings are always the right thing to buy me). My sister’s best friend and my friend got me this beautiful plant, which I assume it’s a type of a cactus. I may or may not told her I always forget to water flowers, I’m just that type of a person who forgets about plants and even people.

And last, but not the least- here’s what my sister made for me. She actually told me on the morning of my birthday that she didn’t made me anything, because she had to watch marathon of American Horror Story. I was so angry at her, I didn’t talk to her and I said a few words to her I regret now, but her presents are always the best! And then, when my dad came from work, my parents and my sister gave me my present and then she also gave me what she made for me. She drew some lovely pictures for me, there are M&Ms (my favourite candy) on the cake, a lyrics from There’s a light that never goes out (my favourite song) on the bag... She wrote a beautiful verse and she overwrote the entire lyrics from There’s a light that never goes out. She’s just the sweetest sister in the world, isn’t she?

I can’t even express how grateful I am to my family, all of my relatives and friends. They always make my birthdays special and unforgettable.

I will also write some reviews about the makeup I got, do you have any special requests?

I hope you enjoy reading blog from another teenager!
